At Powdered Soul we are dedicated to helping youth learn the importance of community involvement and helping others. We make it a priority for our participants to provide service to the local community. Below are some of the services our participants have provided and events the organization has been a part of.  

Partnership with HEART Locker
o Collected used clothing, new personal care products as well as snacks for their summer program.
Participated in “Project Underwear”, collecting over 200 pieces of new underwear, as well as over 300
pieces of gently used clothing.

 Partnership with Care Farms
o Provided volunteers to assist with Care Farms annual obstacle course event. Volunteers helped participants
complete obstacles, providing support and cheering

 Partnership with DREAM Adaptive
o Participated in the summer long paddleboard series organized by DREAM Adaptive. Volunteers helped set
up, support and cheer on participants.

 Flathead Food Bank- Stuff the Bus
o Took part in the annual Stuff the Bus campaign organized by Flathead Food Bank

 North Valley Food Bank- Crafts for Senior Food Boxes
o Volunteers spent time making holiday crafts and cards to be included in the senior food packages
distributed by North Valley Food Bank

 Trick-or- Treat for Food banks- benefited food banks in Kalispell, Polson and Whitefish
o Volunteers visited neighborhoods in each town, going door-to- door collecting nonperishable items for each
food bank

 School Supplies for Teachers- Benefited Cayuse Prairie, Kalispell and Whitefish teachers
o Volunteers collected supplies as well as solicited donations to provide baskets of school supplies for area
teachers, thus lessening the financial burden placed on teachers for needed supplies

 Free Little Library Refill
o Collected used books, distributed them in free little libraries throughout valley

 Delivered thank you notes and gifts to firemen, policemen and dispatch center throughout the valley
o This is an event that we do regularly, while stressing to our participants the valley of these community -
members in our lives

 Participated in All About Our Families event in Whitefish

 Completed Various Random Acts of Kindness
o Hid studded toys throughout valley parks, for children to find and take home
o Hung books from trees in playgrounds
o Left duck food at the park to feed the ducks
o Left blankets throughout valley parks for homeless
o Painted inspirational rocks and left them around valley
o Picked up trash around valley
o Decorated yards of deserving community members, from amazing community volunteers to cancer patients
that needed a little boost to their day
o Attended the Whitefish Winter Stroll passing out holiday treats, spreading holiday cheer while expecting
nothing in return

 Volunteered with the Flathead Valley Food bank, assisting in preparing staples to be distributed to Flathead families in
