POWDERED SOUL.png

Bring the glass you’ve been collecting to Flathead Recon in Columbia Falls from 10 am-6pm and 80% of funds raised will go directly to youth scholarships, keeping kids in the valley involved in extracurricular activities. In addition, your donations help us to continue to give back to the community through service as our participants gave 563 hours of their time to 10 different local organizations this summer.

In the spirit of sustainability and doing our part for the planet, recycling glass is a great way to keep excess waste out of landfills to be repurposed in many different ways. It is estimated that a single glass bottle could take up to one million years to decompose in the landfill. Thanks to Flathead Recon and their glass pulverizer, this effect could be greatly reduced. So, bring the glass you have collected on Saturday and give back to your local community while doing your part to reduce waste.

DIRECTIONS TO THE FACILITY:
From Nucleus Avenue go north as it joins the North Fork Road. Take your first left across the railroad tracks. There will be signs for the business in the industrial park.As you cross the tracks you will see an auto salvage yard to your left and the industrial park entrance on your right, go right into the industrial park. As you enter the park stay to the left proceeding past a truck scale and shack. You are seeking a road that goes off to the left after you pass the scale shack by about fifty yards. Proceed left about about a hundred yards and switch back for another fifty and you should be looking at the reclaimed building materials and glass recycling facility. If you are not...go back to the entrance of the park and try again. Thank you.
